On June 8, NALIP Boston hosted a mixer with members of the Filmmaker's Collaborative, a group of Boston Area Producers. We had approximately forty guests attending, and many of New England's veteran indie producers were eager to get to know NALIP Boston producers, including:

• Laurie Kahn-Leavitt (TUPPERWARE! winner of the Peabody Prize and a veteran of several AMERICAN EXPERIENCE documentaries)
• Ben Loetterman (THE WAR THAT MADE AMERICA for national PBS, and a veteran of many FRONTLINE documentaries
• Linda Harrar (veteran producer of science and environment series for national PBS, and a NOVA producer)
• Katherine Dietz (AMERICAN EXPERIENCE'S MARY PICKFORD, the CHINA TRILOGY)
• Nancy Porter (AMERICAN EXPERIENCE'S HOUDINI, TYPHOID MARY, AMELIA EARHART)
