2013 Doc Fortnight Special Program 'MoMA Selects: POV' 2/27-3/4 in NYC

As POV's 25th Anniversary celebrations continue, we are pleased to announce the MoMA Selects: POV series, taking place from Wednesday, February 27 to Monday, March 4 as part of the 2013 Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) Documentary Fortnight. The series, curated by the film department at MoMA, will feature 22 POV films, including 19 from the past 25 years. MoMA Selects: POV will also feature three upcoming films from POV's 2013 season, including the world premiere of HomegoingsGirl Model, and Oscar nominee 5 Broken Cameras. Selected films from the POV archives will include films by Alan Berliner, Marlon Riggs, Freida Lee Mock, Jennifer Fox, Marshall Curry and many others. American Tongues, the first-ever POV broadcast film, will include a discussion with filmmakers Louis Alvarez and Andy Kolker in conversation with POV founder Marc Weiss.
