NEH Seeking Public Comments on Proposed Guidelines for Digital Projects

The National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) is seeking public comments on the proposed guidelines for the Digital Projects for the Public program that will launch in fiscal year 2014. The guidelines are for a new program to fund humanities projects using digital formats - such as websites, mobile applications, games, social media, and virtual environments - to reach the public and foster lifelong learning. We envision this grant category as an opportunity to encourage the integration of new digital technologies in traditional humanities spaces (such as museums, historic sites, and public media) as well as to foster the development of innovative, stand-alone digital projects with rich humanities content.

The press release announcing the guidelines and the public comment period with links to the application guidelines may be found at http://www.neh.gov/news/press-release/2012-11-14
