Latino Lens Showcase - Now Accepting Short Film Submissions

On October 30, NALIP will be conducting its second annual fall event, Latino Lens Festival and Showcase 2016, that aims to display a wide range of voices and narratives that are crafted by Latino filmmakers, in the hopes of advancing the exposure and accessibility of Latin-crafted cinema and art forms.

NALIP is conducting a worldwide search for the highest quality short films that represents a commitment to diversity and the Latino/a community. We are looking for talented, creative, and fresh individuals with finished products that are ready to show the world what they have created and what they can offer.

The short film must be less than 20 minutes long, feature Latino/a talent on or behind the camera in leading roles, and/or focus on issues that pertain to the Latino/a community. The film must have been completed during the year 2015. In order to submit for consideration, please go to our website, and click on the link “Submit Your Work.” The link submitted must be password protected.

Please inform in the description box that you are submitting for the 2016 Latino Lens Showcase and provide the password. Also, please provide a brief explanation as to why you believe your project should be displayed at our showcase, and be a part of our lineup.
