Apply for a Conference 9 Scholarship!
NALIPsters,
There are only 8 weeks left to NALIP Conference 9! Come join us for this annual celebration and take advantage of all the opportunities available to propel your filmmaking career.
A little short on CASH? NO PROBLEM…
NALIP allocates a portion of our Conference Budget to supplement the travel and hotel costs of student and emerging makers, plus those members with limited resources. In addition, NALIP discounts ALL NALIP member registration costs, so that you do not bear the full cost of your meals, seminars, and materials.
NALIP will grant a limited number of hotel scholarships to NALIP, SAG, & Nosotros members that are registered by the deadline and submit an application. These are triple, occupancy rooms for two or three nights - Thursday through Saturday, March 6-8, 2008.
In addition, NALIP will grant a limited number of travel stipends to non-California residents, to reimburse a portion of their costs of attending Conference 9! Travel Stipends are $250 for NALIP members living full-time East of the Rockies; $150 for non-California residents living West of the Rockies.
REMEMBER!
You must be a NALIP, SAG, or Nosotros member.
You must be registered as a paid Conference participant.
You must submit your application form by JANUARY 21, 2008.
The National Conference offers unique opportunities. NALIPster Beth Bird has attended and received a Scholarship three years in a row! And her experiences at past Conferences have been priceless. “Presenters at the NALIP Conference are some of the most important and influential people in my field, and it is an invaluable opportunity to learn new skills, new technologies, and network professionally.”
So visit us at www.nalip.org, and register for Conference 9 TODAY!
Do not miss out on the chance to attend NALIP’s National Conference on Scholarship.
