Should be familiar with commercial demands including MPAA requirements. . Bi lingual ability is a plus. We have a full editing suite in house. Must be conversant with web requirements for audio visual materiel.

Post Production facility seeks an enthusiastic individual for its tech department. Position to be filled ASAP.
Responsibilities include building turnkey Final Cut Pro edit systems, trouble shooting client edit systems in house and on-site, digitizing and Edit To Tape in our HD On-line edit bays and any and all things related to FCP.
Must be dependable and self motivated, works well with clients and willing to learn and adapt to the ever growing and changing world of Post Productions. Some experience with Final Cut Pro or as a tape operator is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right individual if needed.

The National Hispanic Media Coalition (NHMC) is a non-profit organization established in 1986 in Los Angeles, California. The organization has grown to have statewide chapters in New York, NY; Chicago, IL; Phoenix, AZ; Sacramento and San Diego, CA; Atlanta, GA; and Detroit, MI. Our mission is to 1) improve the image of American Latinos as portrayed by the media; 2) increase the number of American Latinos employed in all facets of the media industry; and 3) advocate for media and telecommunications policies that benefit the Latino community.
NHMC is looking for a college student, a polished and professional individual with a confident and personable demeanor that is able to work from 20-30 hours per week.
Functions include but are not limited to:
• Responsible for managing front desk which includes guest reception, answering phones, screening and forwarding calls.
• Ordering supplies
• Coordinating messengers and shipping.
• Sorting and distributing mail, faxes and packages.
• Filing other general office duties.
• Client contact & Database Management.
• Internet research and Special Projects.
• Will also assist with projects and day to day duties as they arise.
Job Requirements:
• Must be computer literate – strong ability to use MS Office suite and Internet.
• Must have excellent communication skills and phone etiquette, and be a team player.
• Bilingual English/Spanish candidates are preferred
Salary: $8.00/hr.

Robert: 19-21, Latino, Good looking, aggressively proud, a fighter when cornered, cool head.
Danny Boy: 19, Latino, squirrelly looking, likes to laugh and joke alot. Is a follower.
Tina: 19-21 Latina, Pretty and popular, cheer leader, always taking interest in other people and helps them out.
Connie: 19 Latina, popular, mind of her own, and isn't really together with anyone. Likes Danny boy.
Benny, 23-26 Latino: Served in the Air Force, is knowledgeable of the families in their community. Researches and studies the history of Latinos, especially in WWII.
Magdalena: 20-23 Latina, enjoys life, likes to joke with all, loves to party and help puts parties together.
