NALIP Member and Director/Writer/Producer Alex Ferrari's follow-up to the widely acclaimed short film "B R O K E N" is the terrifying "Daddy's Home"

The short film is a glimpse through the terror-filled eyes of a child of the panic, confusion and fear shared by far too many. The gritty realism of the situation depicted from the point of view of the little girl shows who suffers the most from domestic violence. It's hard to tell whether or not it is actually happening as it
unfolds or a haunting nightmare from the past. This film serves as a reminder for those fortunate enough to feel safe at home that for others it's where they are most fearful.

The film has already played at: Mezcla Latino International Film Festival & Indie Film Festival of North Texas. It is currently making it's way through the festival circuit.

Frank Aragon, Owner/CEO of 1211 Pictures Entertainment and New Partner Ken Sitnick Due to Release "Hollywood Familia.”

The company is aiming specifically at an American Latino audience. "Hollywood Familia" is the only Latino themed movie in English to be released this late in the year when the major studios typically are releasing their big films in consideration for the Oscars. "We have a wonderful supporting performance from Renee Victor and an original song titled "Hollywood Familia" says Aragon.  "We are chasing a longshot, but we have a couple of horses that can win their races if given the opportunity," says fellow partner Ken Sitnick.

"Hollywood Familia" a dramedy is the story of four women living under the same roof dealing with their own demons, a cheating husband and a soap star that gets stuck in the middle of it all who thought he was only stopping by for a visit. The film stars Renee Victor, Doralicia Sitnick who also was the screenwriter, Larissa Asuaje, Priscilla Medina along with Scott Roberts and Carlos Montilla.

In a year that saw only "Nacho Libre" which starred Jack Black a non-Latino, "Quencera" and "Goal", its been a pretty dry year for the largely untapped Latino english speaking market representing over 9 billion dollars in strength.

The film will first be in limited release theatrically in Los Angeles making its debut December 8, 2006 in order to qualify for a possible consideration by the Academy Awards (AAMPAS). 1211 Pictures Entertainment holds a library of material aimed at the underserved 13.4 percent population of Latinos in the U.S. and there's much more to come.

The company can be found at www.1211entertainment.com
