Lose Control,” New York City’s hottest variety performance troupe, announces Betty La Bella’s hosting debut at the famous New York Improv Comedy Club this Sunday, November 5, 2006 from 7-8:30pm.
Presented by Viya Unlimited and Chulisi Enterprises, “Lose Control,” the urban Latino version of “In Living Color” takes a light-hearted look at “new generation” Latinos who are bilingual, and who choose to identify with both their American and Hispanic cultures. “Fusing traditional Hispanic icons with mainstream American pop culture is the essence of Lose Control’s appeal,” said Vicky Ayala, co-creator of Lose Control. A strong sense of family and close tie to Hispanic tradition are extremely important to New Generation Latinos, making Lose Control extremely popular among the 18-35 demographic market.
