Female Producer Wanted for Short Film Production on Location in Baja.
I am a third year graduate film student at USC. This is my thesis film as writer/director. I have experience producing shorts and low-budget features and just want to work with a Producer who loves to work hard and keep it light on set. We'll head down to Mulege on August 25th and return from the shoot around the 10th of September. Production is based in Los Angeles and all expenses will be paid for while filming in Baja.
“Real Men Ride Horses,” a Western, tells the story of Will Bowman's search throughout Baja for his 18-year-old daughter Sadie, as he fears for her safety and wants her to return home. But Sadie has already rejected that home. She's a misguided free spirit and willing to go to almost any length to perpetuate her own good times. The film ends with a bloody confrontation between the two, and a sad departure back to the home from which they've both come so far away. The story is based on my sister's irrational burning to flee from our parents' home. It is also about the man I always wished my father would become for the two of us.
Please respond with a little bit about yourself and your experience. References are great too.

The Unusual Suspects Theatre Company Seeks Volunteer Artists
The Unusual Suspects Theatre Company is seeking volunteer artists to work with at-risk teens in foster care and juvenile justice to help them write and perform in their own play for fall 2006. It's a rewarding 12-week commitment, two days a week for 4-6 hours that transforms youth through theatre.
We are looking for volunteers with a theatre, acting or writing background and preferably some experience working with teens. We have programs beginning in September and October in Calabasas, Torrance, Palms & El Sereno areas. Volunteers are needed for these 12-week programs. We do have some paid artist positions that volunteers may move into eventually if they begin as a volunteer.
Please email or fax a resume and cover with interest and background by July 24th. Send all questions & information to Priscilla at info@theunusualsuspects.org or fax# (310) 558-3191. Check us out on

Seeking translator for industrial video script,
We are looking for someone to translate a script for an industrial video. Low to moderate budget. The translation will be from English to Spanish so
we prefer someone whose first language is Spanish. If you use translating
software, don't even think of replying. The English script is 22 pages;
dual column video script. It will have to be edited for time to match the
English script paragraph by paragraph. Client does not want to re-edit the
visuals to accommodate the Spanish script. If you are male and can do the
VO and translate, we really want to talk to you. If you are interested,
please send us a list of some of your previous translation clients or
work. Also, an idea of your rate. We started the work but for personal
reasons are unable finish and we don't want to let the client down. We
need a quick (but good) turn-around. Let us know asap.
