SEEKING QUINCEANERA PRINCESS FOR EDUCATIONAL DVD!
Teacher's Discovery educational DVD will be presented to English
speaking American students of all cultures and will introduce
the "Tradition of the Quinceanera."
Our cameras will follow the princess as she shops for her
dress, tiara, bracelets and accessories, makes calls to invite
friends, prepares for the event and finally, will showcase
the fiesta itself.
SEEKING QUINCEANERA PRINCESS
Mexican. 15 years old. Must have an outgoing personality
and enthusiasm for Mexican culture. Must speak English well
and be Bilingual (completely fluent Spanish). No experience
is necessary. We would like to cast, not just the
princess, but also the entire family where it's members will
participate whole-heartedly and agree to be part of the documentary.
SEEKING TWO TYPES OF QUINCEANERAS
a) An elaborate event where the
parents and padrinos go all out to produce the most extravagant
day for their princess at a fancy location that will showcase
a classical tradition of the Quinceanera. (We have heard some
parents make this day almost as elaborate as a wedding...
this is the one type of celebration we are looking for).
b) A simpler Quinceanera where the
parents and padrinos make this celebration a homegrown experience
with the party at a family members' house and perhaps
the community joins in the celebration.
The Quinceanera Princess will receive a copy of the
DVD and other considerations.
Before you call please make sure you meet the
following requirements:
1) Your Quinceanera will be in May or early June.
2) You have an outgoing personality and are enthusiastic.
3) Your family is interested in participating.
4) You speak English and your family is fluent in Spanish.
