Seeking a PR professional needed for compelling Short Film

Haiku Films has an immediate opening for a PR professional to join us to help position "Soledad Is Gone Forever" for upcoming film festivals. (Palm Springs, AFI, Toronto , Sundance, etc) In addition to preparing a press kit and helping to promote the film for fundraising purposes, we would like to target pre-festival reviews such Film Threat, etc. Soledad Is Gone Forever is a spellbinding psychological drama that explores the long-term human cost of state sponsored violence. Most of the materials for the press kit have already been produced. We need an experienced PR professional to design a strategy for this short film that will be made into a feature length version.

While this is a volunteer opportunity, we may consider a small stipend. The film has already generated buzz in the media and was honored as one of the top five films in the Best of NALIP Conference and Market 2006.
