Beyond the Artist’s Way: Creativity and Transformation with Mark Bryan

The Art and Science of Creativity, Relationships and Success

An Experiential Weekend Intensive

August 13, 14, 15, 2004

Friday: 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm

Saturday: 8:30 am to 6:00 pm

Sunday: 8:30 am to 4:00 pm

Location: Pasadena, California

Hotel: The Westin Hotel, 191 N. Los Robles Ave, Pasadena, CA. 91101

Facilitator: Mark Bryan Price: $495. USD

The California Board of Behavioral Sciences, CEU #1873, approves this workshop for CEU credits for Licensed Clinical Social Workers and Marriage and Family Counselors.

EVOLUTION OF THE WORKSHOP

The Artist’s Way created a phenomenon and became an international best-seller. It has been a dozen years since that groundbreaking book hit the marketplace and during that time much has been learned from the experience of working artists who use the tools, the scientific study of creativity, the social psychology of people who create.

These new sources of information led to the development of advanced techniques that provide a fresh approach to creative expression and personal transformation. Based on a decade of exploration and refinement, this workshop presents successful strategies that both augment and surpass the original Artist’s Way tools.

Beyond the Artist’s Way: Creativity and Transformation will help illuminate the next important steps toward fulfillment, financial success, creative expression, or psychological wholeness. The workshop teaches effective forms of reflection that lead to insight, helps participants re-imagine their failures, setbacks, and heartbreaks so they are free to face new opportunities from a more positive emotional stance, and guides them to re-ignite passions and leverage their strengths to help improve success in work and in love. These tools can increase the joy in everyday existence and promote rejuvenation over the life course.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND: This workshop purposely attracts an eclectic mix of participants, many of whom wish they were more creative—or richer, healthier, happier. Workshop members typically include business professionals, health care providers, entertainment executives, educators as well as accomplished and amateur artists from every medium. Regardless of their background they often desire forward movement in one or more of the following areas:

1. Initiate and complete a creative project – in business, science, or the fine arts.

2. Work through negative emotions that block insight and creative expression.

3. Gain insight into current personal or business relationships.

4. Uncover their unique voice and personal values.

5. Plan transition from one career or life phase into another.

6. Overcome burnout; find new meaning in work.

7. Have fun.

8. Increase levels of optimism and productivity.

9. Cope with success.
