NALIP LA Hollywood Video Slam APRIL 22ND TONIGHT!

Share your work - Meet other Latino media makers - Shake your groove thing to tunes after the screening.

What's a Film Slam?
It's like a poetry slam but with flicks:  people show up with their best five minutes of their film or video cued up. We show the films randomly (NO first come, first serve--we want you to hang out!), the filmmaker is introduced and can say a couple of words and the night goes on like that.
from 7-7:45:  we collect the vids (VHS, DVD format)
from 8-10p:   we watch the vids

The Slam/Mixer, held at 4928 Hollywood Blvd, is sponsored by Smokin' Mirrors and Subcine. The event is free and open to the public.
