LIMITED PERFORMANCE--'PECKER PATTER' THIS WEEKEND (DEC. 12)

FLASH!!! To all interested parties, to all ships at sea, to anyone that wants to be a part of the next great American theatre experience, "Pecker Patter" (the male answer to the "Vagina Monologues" from the penises' point of view) is here.

Written and Directed by Frank (Franky C) Carrisquillo & Mel Kohl, and produced by Paul Perez, "Pecker Patter" is for people who have seen the Vagina Monologues and for people wouldn't be caught dead at a performance of the Vagina Monologues, but most of all it's for people who want to laugh.

"Pecker Patter" is for anyone who has a penis, or for anyone who has to deal with anyone who has a penis.  But unlike the Vagina Monologues this play has music, jokes, and a unique hysterical overview of the ins and outs of the penis throughout history.  This is his story, but here the "F-word"   stands for funny.

Don't miss being a part of "Pecker Patter" by attending this seminal performance at the Century City Playhouse at 10508 West Pico Blvd.,  On Sunday, December 12,  2004 at 1 PM.

Due to limited seating, RSVP essential by e-mail

LPA FELLOW HENRY ROBLES' 'COLD CASE' DEBUT

Dear Friends and Family,

Thanks to everyone who's been asking when my episode of "Cold Case" airs.  I'm happy to report that it is scheduled to air Sunday, December 19.  On the East and West Coasts it can be seen on CBS at 8 p.m. after "60 Minutes."  In the middle of the country it might be 7 p.m., but I'm not sure.  Check your local listings for the exact time.

The title of the episode is "Discretion" and it's about a murdered lawyer.  (No, it's not drawn from personal experience, although it is inspired by the real-life case of a murdered federal prosecutor from Baltimore.)  Look for my name in the screen credits at the beginning of the show after the main titles.

I'm also happy to report that I've been asked to remain on the show for the rest of the season, and that I'm already at work on writing my next episode which will air in the spring.

Thanks for all your good wishes and enjoy the show!

Henry

BIZ: THIRD WEEK'S A CHARM FOR "BAD EDUCATION";

FELLOW SONY CLASSICS RELEASE "DAGGERS" COMES OUT FIGHTING

(by Brian Brooks, December 8, 2004)
Sony Pictures Classics has capitalized on the final month of 2004 with two hits, taking the top spots of the iW: BOT, ranked on a per screen basis, with Pedro Almodovar's "Bad
Education" holding the pinnacle place for the third straight week and "House of Flying Daggers" by Zhang Yimou placing second. Warner Independent Pictures' "A Very Long Engagement" remained steadfast in its affair with the chart's top tier with a brisk gross in several locations, while Avatar Films' "After Midnight" and Wellspring's "Notre Musique" rounded out the top five. Miramax's "Finding Neverland," and Fox Searchlight's "Kinsey" and "Sideways" continued to be the largest overall specialty earners last weekend, capturing a larger share of a reduced 'indie' gross compared to the previous holiday weekend.

Almodovar's "Bad Education" remained last week's indie valedictorian, remaining on three screens, grossing $88,856 for a very solid $29,619 per screen average, down 36% from
the Thanksgiving weekend three-day tally. The film has now cumed $526,559.

SEEKING LATIN PRODUCER FOR CHEECH MARIN DOC

Our film is a documentary about Cheech Marin and the Chicano artists in his collection.  It will document the rise and establishment of the Chicano movement through the eyes  of the artists who made it all possible. With Cheech as the film's guide, viewers will learn about the history of these artists' hard-won journey for respectability and acceptance.

We are looking for a Latin producer who is smart, competent and knows how to produce documentaries.  We would also like this person to work with us in raising financing to finish the film that's about half completed.  Therefore, someone who is familiar and well connected with production companies, distributors and film festivals is definite plus!

If you are interested, please contact Tamara Hernandez at:
tamara@idfilms.com.
