NALIP-NY 2005 CHAPTER ELECTION RESULTS !!!
The results were announced last night,
Wednesday, October 27th, 2004 at the General
Membership Meeting @ WNET, which was attended by a constituency of
40. Thirteen members of the NALIP/NY Executive Board
& Committee Chairs for 2005 were approved
by the membership.
It has been a year and one half process
since it all began at a March 2003 Organizational
and Team-building Retreat, which stressed that NALIP/NY had
to restructure its governance and infrastructure. Two Ad-hoc
Committees were created, "Governance & Infrastructure"
then "Nominations & Election" paved the way
to formulating a formidable slate and candidates. There
is still one more Co-Chair position needed in the area of
Communications, Marketing & Community, but
we are 98% there.
Congratulations
to the NALIP/NY Executive Board and Committee Chairs and all
the best in developing a New York Chapter with greater visibility
and impact within the production world.
