Call for Entries: 3rd International Puerto Rican Heritage Film Festival

The 3rd Annual International Puerto Rican Heritage Film festival is now accepting submissions. The IPRHFF will feature films on the subject of Puerto Rico, its people, including those in the Diaspora, or that have personnel of Puerto Rican descent in a key production role.

Moctesuma Esparza Named Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Finalist

Carmen Oquendo-Villar Awarded Robert Giard Foundation Fellowship


NALIP member Carmen Oquendo-Villar has been awarded the 2013-2014 Robert Giard Foundation Fellowship for emerging photographers and filmmakers working on themes of gender and sexuality.

Tony Kushner (Pulitzer Prize winning playwright of "Angels in America") will be the guest speaker at the May 22 reception/benefit when Carmen will officially be named recipient of the fellowship.
