The selected intern will assist the NALIP LMM team develop and produce the 2015 Latino Media Market and Access Programs. Concurrent with the annual NALIP Media Summit, the Latino Media Market (LMM) is a professional meeting series designed to bring NALIP members and their projects together with funders, studio executives, distributors, broadcasters, and employers.

After a competitive selection process that evaluates creative talent, storytelling skills and commitment to the craft of filmmaking. The LMM is a unique venue for project writers and producers to meet targeted executives and mentors for concrete deals, options, licenses and advancements. The Latino Media Market is accompanied by the exclusive NALIP Access Program - where each month we set up meetings with executive from diverse, networks, studios, production outlets and present a curated number of Latino content creators at a more advanced level. Specifically, the intern will assist with the program application review process, update the LMM database, research regional filmmaker organizations and institutions, with particular emphasis on diversity. Intern will conduct ongoing outreach to sister organizations and industry network, film markets and festivals, etc. to identify potential executives. In addition, intern will assist with LMM social media outreach, including updates and timelines for the program via the NALIP website and newsletter. 

SKILLS REQUIRED 
Intern should demonstrate strong interest in the entertainment industry including television, independent film, unscripted and digital media. Strong phone and computer skills. Previous knowledge and versatility of technology apps, post-production software and database management is highly desired but not required. Able to juggle multiple projects in a fast paced environment. Self motivated, able to take initiative, organized, and detail oriented skills required. Bilingual (English/Spanish) applicants are highly desired.
